Silverado Spur
Silverado Spur Silverado Spur

Silver was a 52 inch large standard spotted jack, and a double grandson of National Champion Donkey, Solomon's Henry.  His sire is Doctor Henry.  Click here to read more about this well-known bloodline.  Silver was twice runner-up at the Texas Zoo's Most Beautiful Burro Contest in Victoria, Texas.  He was to begin his show and breeding career in 2003, but sadly, he died suddenly while playing in his paddock right before Christmas 2002 due to EIPH.  He was only five years old.

Baby Kenny and baby Knee-Hi were just right for each other (left).  Antsy (right) was Knee-Hi's half sister.  Their sire was Casanova who came from the original Miniature Mediterranean donkey stock imported by August Busch, Jr.  (Sicilian and Sardinian imports in their pedigrees.)
