Canelo was a pretty red roan standard gelding,
and was one of Kenny's first donkeys. Canelo was an excellent child's
mount and much more stable than most shetland ponies. He later went
to live where he would be the first mount for another child.

Jake was a blue roan, 53 inch large standard
jack that stood at stud at El Cascabel. He was heavy-boned and sired
some nice mule babies with excellent conformation.
