Cascabel Mules

DANGER ZONE
"Mr. Moose" (Danger Zone) is the older brother of After & Coyote.  His sire was Sunday, a well-known mammoth jack shown in and around Texas.  Mr. Moose was sold as a long yearling and later used for roping and match racing.

Brae Bar Ben
Ben is a nice bay john mule raised by friends of ours, the Voskamps, and later bought by the Hollis family of Crosby, Texas.  Ben's dam was a daughter of Magnolia Pay, an AQHA Supreme Champion.  This little mule has a big heart.  He was terribly injured in an accident that severed the flexor tendon in a hind leg.  Dr. Tex Taylor re-attached the tendon with two surgeries, and the Hollis family did a great job with his after care.  The photos below are a testament to his recovery as they were taken a few years after his accident.
